Hendrik-Jan Talsma is a Dutch politician and public prosecutor who has served as a member of the Senate of the Netherlands since April 2021, representing the Christian Union. In October 2025, he was elected as the Second Vice-President of the Senate. Before his parliamentary career, Talsma worked as a public prosecutor for the Public Prosecution Service and served as a military attorney for the Royal Netherlands Navy. Additionally, he has held the position of ombudsman for the National Police Corps since 2023.
