Henry Ruß

Henry Ruß is a German local politician who has served as the Lord Mayor of Reichenbach im Vogtland since 2023. Born in 1964 in Zwickau, he studied history and pedagogy at the Karl-Marx-University in Leipzig. Before his election as mayor, he worked as a process manager in the personnel services sector and served as a member of the works council. A long-time member of The Left party, Ruß served on the Reichenbach city council from 1998 and continues to serve as the parliamentary group leader for his party in the Vogtland district council.
