Hiroki Sumiyoshi is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Hyogo 11th district. Born in Kobe, he holds degrees from Hakuryo High School, Nagoya University, and the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Engineering. Before entering politics, he worked at Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities and managed a coworking space in Kobe. Sumiyoshi previously served one term in the Hyogo Prefectural Assembly. He was first elected to the national Diet in 2021, lost his seat in 2024, and successfully returned to the House of Representatives in the 2026 general election.
