Hiroshi Yuki is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Obanazawa City in Yamagata Prefecture. Born in Obanazawa, he graduated from Toyo University's Faculty of Law and spent his early career as a civil servant at the Defense Agency, eventually retiring from the Acquisition, Technology and Logistics Agency in 2017. After an unsuccessful bid for the mayoralty in 2018, he was elected as the Mayor of Obanazawa in 2022, narrowly defeating the incumbent. His personal motto is 'Jo' (empathy), and he emphasizes practical problem-solving in his administration.
