世耕弘成

Hiroshige Seko is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. He previously served five terms in the House of Councillors, where he held significant roles including Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary. A graduate of Waseda University and Boston University, Seko began his career at NTT before entering politics. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent figure in the Liberal Democratic Party, focusing on economic policy, trade, and digital strategy. In 2024, he was elected to the House of Representatives following a period of political controversy regarding party funding, subsequently rejoining the Liberal Democratic Party's parliamentary group.
