Hon Chan

Hon Chan is a Canadian politician currently serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia for the electoral district of Richmond Centre. Born in 1987, he grew up in Richmond and graduated from the University of British Columbia. Before entering politics, he spent 15 years in the news industry, working as a news anchor, assignment editor, and talk show host for Fairchild TV. He was elected in the 2024 provincial election as a member of the Conservative Party of British Columbia, but he currently sits as an independent following his removal from the party caucus in March 2026 due to pending criminal charges.
