Hsu Hsin-ying

Hsu Hsin-ying is a Taiwanese politician and civil engineer currently serving as a member of the Legislative Yuan. Born in Hsinchu County, she holds a Ph.D. in civil engineering from National Chiao Tung University and previously worked as a researcher for the Ministry of the Interior and in the private sector. Hsu began her political career on the Hsinchu County Council before winning a seat in the Legislative Yuan in 2012. She later founded the Minkuotang in 2015 and served as its chair, and was the vice-presidential candidate for the People First Party in 2016. After rejoining the Kuomintang in 2022, she successfully returned to the legislature in the 2024 elections.
