Ian Bushie

Ian Bushie is a Canadian politician serving as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba for the electoral district of Keewatinook. A member of the Hollow Water First Nation, he was first elected in the 2019 provincial general election. Bushie currently serves as the Minister of Natural Resources and Indigenous Futures in the cabinet of Premier Wab Kinew, having previously held the position of Minister of Municipal and Northern Relations. Prior to his legislative career, he was active in Indigenous leadership, including a 2008 candidacy for the leadership of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs.
