Ichiro Oyama is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Kagawa Prefectural Assembly. First elected to the assembly in 2003, he previously served as the 91st Chairman of the Kagawa Prefectural Assembly from 2019 to 2020. Before entering politics, he worked as a secretary to House of Representatives member Shunichi Fukiya. Oyama is affiliated with the Liberal Democratic Party and holds leadership roles within the party's Kagawa prefectural chapter. He is also active in various legislative leagues, including those focused on addressing internet and gaming addiction, as well as promoting the resolution of abduction issues.
