Ilse Aigner

Ilse Aigner is a German politician and the current President of the Landtag of Bavaria, a position she has held since 2018. A member of the Christian Social Union (CSU), she previously served as the Federal Minister of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection from 2008 to 2013 and as the Bavarian Minister of Economic Affairs and Deputy Minister-President. Before her political career, she worked as a radio and television technician. Aigner is known for her focus on agricultural policy, energy transition, and regional development in Bavaria.
