Ueki Imaoka is a Japanese politician and former Ministry of Finance official currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Tokyo 26th district. Born in Singapore and raised in Tokyo, he graduated from Waseda University and later earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. During his career at the Ministry of Finance, he held various roles, including positions in the International Bureau and the Minister's Secretariat, and served as the Director of Planning and Finance for Yawatahama City. After leaving the ministry, he worked as a business producer and researcher before entering politics. He was elected to the House of Representatives in 2026 after previously running in the 2024 general election.
