Imelda Sanmiguel Sánchez is a Mexican politician and member of the National Action Party (PAN). Born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, she holds a degree in architecture and a master's in real-estate appraisals. Before her election to the Senate of the Republic in 2024, she served as a councilor in Nuevo Laredo and as a deputy in the Congress of Tamaulipas for two terms. She has been an active member of the PAN since 2003 and currently serves as a senator representing Tamaulipas.
