Indarjit Singh, Baron Singh of Wimbledon, is a British journalist, broadcaster, and life peer in the House of Lords. Born in Rawalpindi, British India, in 1932, he moved to England in 1933 and pursued a career in mining and civil engineering before becoming a prominent voice for the Sikh community. He is the director of the Network of Sikh Organisations (UK) and was a long-time presenter of the 'Thought for the Day' segment on BBC Radio 4. Appointed a Crossbench life peer in 2011, he is recognized for his extensive work in interfaith relations and his advocacy for religious representation in public life.
