Inga Sæland is an Icelandic politician and the founder and leader of the People's Party. Born in Ólafsfjörður, she has served as a member of the Althing since 2017 and currently holds the position of Minister of Education and Children's Affairs. Known for her populist political stance, she advocates for disability rights and poverty reduction while maintaining conservative views on immigration. Before entering politics, she studied law and political science at the University of Iceland and participated in the Icelandic version of The X Factor.
