Ionuț Pucheanu

Ionuț-Florin Pucheanu is a Romanian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Galați, a position he has held since 2016. Born in 1981 in Galați, he holds degrees in Law and International Relations, as well as a Master's degree in Business Law from the Romanian Diplomatic Institute. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on urban modernization, infrastructure development, and the extensive use of European Union funds to improve public transport and municipal facilities. He is also a vice president of the Social Democratic Party for the South-East region of Romania.
