Iqbal Mohamed

Iqbal Mohamed is a British politician, engineer, and IT consultant who has served as the Member of Parliament for Dewsbury and Batley since 2024. Elected as an independent candidate, he campaigned on a pro-Palestine platform and has focused on issues such as the UK cost of living crisis and international conflict resolution. Before entering politics, Mohamed worked in manufacturing, electrical engineering, and business technology management. He is a founding member of the Independent Alliance parliamentary group and has been involved in various legislative debates, including those concerning social welfare and marriage policy.
