Irene Linda Mugisha is a Ugandan politician and psychologist currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Fort Portal City in the 11th Parliament of Uganda. Representing the National Resistance Movement, she has over 20 years of experience in local government, having previously served as a councilor and secretary in the Kabarole Local Government Council. A community development scientist by training, she has focused her career on advocacy, gender development, and counseling. Mugisha is noted for her early political engagement, having been elected as a district youth councilor at age 24.
