Horváth Jácint

Jácint Horváth is a Hungarian economist and politician who has served as the Mayor of Nagykanizsa since 2024. Born in 1976 in Nagykanizsa, he holds degrees in environmental management and engineering economics. Before his election as mayor, he worked as a regional planner for the West Transdanubian Regional Development Agency and served as a local municipal representative starting in 2014. A member of the Democratic Coalition, he was elected mayor with 47.86% of the vote in the 2024 municipal elections.
