Jérémy Bacchi

Jérémy Bacchi is a French politician serving as a Senator for the Bouches-du-Rhône department since 2020. A member of the French Communist Party (PCF), he has led the party's departmental federation in Bouches-du-Rhône since 2017. Before his election to the Senate, he worked as a social worker and was an active trade unionist with the CGT. In 2020, he led a left-wing coalition in the Marseille municipal elections, where he notably withdrew his candidacy in the second round to prevent a far-right victory in his sector.
