J.W. Kuo is a Taiwanese business executive and politician who served as Taiwan's Minister of Economic Affairs from April 2024 to August 2025. Before entering public service, he co-founded TOPCO Scientific Company and served as chairman of TeaLa, building an extensive background in the private business sector. During his tenure in the cabinet led by Cho Jung-tai, he focused on economic development initiatives, overseas science parks, and addressing future electric power challenges, before resigning in August 2025 due to health reasons.
