Jakub Janda is a Czech politician and former professional ski jumper. He gained international recognition as a world-class athlete, winning the 2005–06 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup and the 2005/06 Four Hills Tournament. Following his retirement from sports in 2017, he transitioned into politics and was elected to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic as a member of the Civic Democratic Party. He continues to serve in the legislature, representing his constituents at the national level.
