James Gerard Jamieson, Baron Jamieson, is a British Conservative politician and life peer who currently serves as a member of the House of Lords. A resident of Bedfordshire since the mid-1980s, he previously served as a member and leader of the Central Bedfordshire Council and as the chairman of the Local Government Association. In recognition of his services to local government, he was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2022. He was nominated for a life peerage by Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and was created Baron Jamieson, of Maulden in the County of Bedfordshire, on March 11, 2024.
