James Sánchez

James Sánchez is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives, representing the 6th district. He assumed office in 2023 following a special election held to fill the vacancy left by the resignation of Edwin Vargas. Prior to his tenure in the state legislature, Sánchez served as a member of the Hartford City Council, having been elected to that position in 2015. Throughout his political career, he has focused on local governance and urban revitalization efforts within Hartford.
