Jan Grolich

Jan Grolich is a Czech politician, lawyer, and former stand-up comedian who has served as the Governor of the South Moravian Region since 2020. He assumed the leadership of the KDU-ČSL party in April 2026. Prior to his regional leadership, Grolich served as a representative and mayor of the municipality of Velatice, beginning his local political career in 2010. Known for his background in law and his previous work in comedy, he has focused on regional development and governance within the South Moravian Region.
