Jan Köstering

Jan Tobias Köstering is a German politician serving as a member of the Bundestag since March 2025, representing North Rhine-Westphalia. Born in 1997 in Ratingen, he is a mechatronics engineer by profession. Before his election to the federal parliament, he was active in local politics as a member of the Nümbrecht Municipal Council and the Oberberg District Council. Köstering joined The Left in 2017 and has been involved in the party's state executive in North Rhine-Westphalia, advocating for his political platform at both the regional and national levels.
