Jan ten Kate

Jan ten Kate is a Dutch politician and former dairy farmer who has served as the Mayor of Staphorst since May 28, 2021. Before his current appointment, he was a member of the municipal council of De Wolden starting in 2002, later serving as an alderman and deputy mayor there from 2010 to 2018. He subsequently served as an alderman in Hardenberg from 2018 until 2021. Ten Kate, who is non-partisan, holds a background in agricultural management and public administration.
