Janette Loreto Garin is a Filipino physician and politician currently serving as the representative for Iloilo's 1st district, a position she has held since 2019 and previously from 2004 to 2013. She served as the 30th Secretary of Health under President Benigno Aquino III from 2015 to 2016. Throughout her career, Garin has been a prominent advocate for public health and women's rights, playing a key role in the enactment of the Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act of 2012, the Cheaper Medicines Law, and the Magna Carta of Women.
