Jay Livingstone is an American lawyer and politician who has served as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives since 2013, representing the 8th Suffolk District. A resident of Boston's Back Bay neighborhood, he has been re-elected multiple times and currently serves as the Chairperson of the Joint Committee on Children, Families and Persons with Disabilities for the 2025-26 legislative session. Before his political career, Livingstone worked as a lawyer in both public and private practice and served as an adjunct professor at Northeastern Law School. He holds degrees from the University of Connecticut and the George Washington University Law School.
