Jean-Marc Boyer

Jean-Marc Boyer is a French politician serving as a member of the French Senate representing the Puy-de-Dôme department. He began his career as a physical education teacher in 1977 before entering local politics, serving as the mayor of Laqueuille for several terms starting in 1989. Throughout his career, he has held various local government positions, including departmental councilor, and served as the president of the Auvergne Volcanoes Regional Natural Park. He was first elected to the Senate in 2017 and was re-elected in 2023.
