Jennifer Chen

Jennifer Chen is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba for the district of Fort Richmond. Elected in the 2023 Manitoba general election, she holds the distinction of being the first MLA of Chinese descent to serve in the Manitoba legislature. Before entering provincial politics, Chen worked as a trustee for the Winnipeg School Division. She moved to Canada around 2008 to pursue higher education, eventually earning a master's degree in kinesiology from the University of Manitoba.
