Jeremy Bynum

Jeremy T. Bynum is an American politician and engineer serving as a member of the Alaska House of Representatives for the 1st district. Born in Portland, Oregon, Bynum earned a Bachelor of Science in engineering from Portland State University. He served in the United States Air Force from 1995 to 2000 and the Air National Guard from 2001 to 2003. Before his election to the state legislature in 2024, he worked as the electric manager of Ketchikan Public Utilities and served on the Ketchikan Gateway Borough Assembly from 2020 to 2024. Upon taking office in the Alaska House, he was assigned to the House Finance Committee.
