Jim Minnix

Jim Minnix is an American politician serving as a member of the Kansas House of Representatives for the 118th district. First elected in November 2020, he assumed office in January 2021. Prior to his tenure in the state legislature, Minnix served as a Scott County Commissioner for 25 years. He holds multiple degrees from Kansas State University, including a Master of Business Administration, and has a background in agricultural economics and business finance. In the legislature, he has focused on committee assignments related to water, transportation, and agriculture.
