Richard Cash

Richard Cash is an American politician and businessman serving as a member of the South Carolina Senate for the 3rd District since 2017. A member of the Republican Party, he is known for his staunch conservative positions, particularly his strong opposition to abortion and his advocacy for restrictive legislation regarding transgender rights. Throughout his tenure, he has frequently pushed for tighter abortion regulations in the state and has been an active participant in legislative debates concerning social issues. Before his political career, he worked as a businessman and property manager.
