Jim Woodward

Jim Woodward is an American politician serving as a member of the Idaho Senate representing District 1. A veteran of the United States Navy, he was born and raised in Bonners Ferry and is a graduate of the University of Idaho. Woodward first served in the state senate from 2018 to 2022, where he focused on education and finance policy. After losing his seat in 2022, he successfully returned to office by winning the 2024 primary election. He is generally recognized as a moderate Republican within the Idaho legislature.
