Jitan Ram Manjhi is an Indian politician currently serving as the Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and as a Member of Parliament for the Gaya constituency. Born into the Musahar community, he has had a long political career in Bihar, serving as the state's 23rd Chief Minister from 2014 to 2015. Throughout his career, he has been a member of several political parties, including the Indian National Congress and Janata Dal (United), before founding the Hindustani Awam Morcha. He is recognized as a prominent Dalit leader in Bihar politics.
