Joel Villanueva

Joel Villanueva is a Filipino politician, pastor, and senator serving in the Senate of the Philippines since 2016. Born in Bocaue, Bulacan, he previously served as a member of the House of Representatives representing the CIBAC party-list from 2002 to 2010 and as Director General of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) from 2010 to 2015. His legislative and political career has largely focused on employment, education, and labor welfare under the moniker "Tesdaman".
