Joey Hood

Joey Hood is an American politician serving as a member of the Mississippi House of Representatives for District 35. Born in 1976, he attended French Camp Academy and earned a degree in history and political science from Mississippi State University. Before his election to the state legislature in 2011, Hood worked for U.S. Senator Trent Lott in Washington, D.C., and later pursued a career in law after graduating from the Mississippi College School of Law. He has served as an attorney and law clerk, representing the Republican Party in his legislative capacity.
