John Arthur

John Arthur is an American politician and educator currently serving as a member of the Utah House of Representatives for the 41st district, having assumed office in 2025. A Korean American, Arthur previously gained national recognition as the 2021 Utah Teacher of the Year and a finalist for the National Teacher of the Year award. Before his legislative career, he taught sixth grade at Meadowlark Elementary in Salt Lake City and testified before the United States Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions regarding teacher shortages and compensation. In 2024, he was a candidate for the Utah State School Board.
