John Gardner

John Gardner is a former Australian politician who served as a member of the South Australian House of Assembly, representing the seat of Morialta from 2010 until 2026. A member of the Liberal Party, he held the position of Minister for Education in the Marshall ministry between 2018 and 2022. Following the 2022 state election, he served as the Deputy Leader of the Opposition. Prior to his parliamentary career, Gardner worked as a senior staffer for federal Liberal MP Christopher Pyne.
