John Slinger

John Slinger is a British Labour politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Rugby since the 2024 general election. Born in Manchester and raised in Gloucestershire, he studied at Durham University before pursuing a career in strategic communications and public relations, including roles at Consulum and Tony Blair Associates. Prior to his election to Parliament, Slinger served as a councillor on the Rugby Borough Council for the New Bilton ward and was actively involved in local community governance as a school governor and charity trustee.
