Jonathan Cooper is an American politician and regional planner serving as a member of the Vermont House of Representatives for the Bennington-1 district. After moving to Pownal, Vermont, in 2016, he worked as a community and economic development planner for the Bennington County Regional Commission. He assumed office in January 2025 and currently serves on the House Committee on Commerce and Economic Development. Cooper holds degrees from St. John's College, The Conway School, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
