Jonathan Davies

Jonathan Davies is a British Labour Party politician who has served as the Member of Parliament for Mid Derbyshire since 2024. Born and educated in Lancashire, he holds a music degree from Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford. Before his election to the House of Commons, Davies worked as a music teacher and in healthcare regulation. He also served as a councillor for the Borough of Chesterfield, where he held the position of Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing. Having lived in Derbyshire for over a decade, he focuses his political work on bringing new opportunities to his constituency.
