Jorge Braz

Jorge Braz de Oliveira is a Brazilian politician and bishop of the Universal Church of the Kingdom of God (IURD). He currently serves as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies representing the state of Rio de Janeiro, affiliated with the Republicans party. Initially a substitute candidate in the 2018 elections, he assumed office in January 2019 following the vacancy created by the death of Wagner Montes. In his legislative role, he focuses on consumer protection, the rights of the elderly, and foreign relations.
