José Fernández Blanco

José Fernández Blanco is a Spanish politician who has served as the Mayor of Puebla de Sanabria since 1991. A member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), he has held various political roles, including serving as a Senator for the province of Zamora in the Spanish Senate, where he was elected in 2004 and 2011. Throughout his career, he has also been a Provincial Deputy in the Zamora Provincial Council and a member of the executive commission of the PSOE in Castile and León. By profession, he is a teacher in his hometown.
