Luis Santamaría Ruiz is a Spanish politician and civil servant born in Albuixech, Valencia. He holds a degree in Political Science and Sociology from the Complutense University of Madrid and began his career as a senior civil servant for the state. Throughout his career, he has held various administrative roles, including Director General for the Ministry of Employment and Social Security and Minister of Governance and Justice for the Valencian Government. He served as a deputy in the Valencian Cortes and later represented the People's Party as a member of the Spanish Congress of Deputies following the 2019 general elections.
