Pilar Alegría is a Spanish politician currently serving as a member of the Cortes of Aragon. A long-time member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), she previously held significant national and regional roles, including Minister of Education, Vocational Training and Sports from 2021 to 2025 and Government Spokesperson. Earlier in her career, she served as a deputy in the Congress of Deputies, Minister of Innovation, Research and Universities of Aragon, and Government Delegate to Aragon. In 2025, she became the secretary-general of the PSOE in Aragon and subsequently led the party in the 2026 regional elections.
