Rafael Simancas

Rafael Simancas Simancas is a Spanish politician currently serving as the Secretary of State for Relations with the Cortes and Constitutional Affairs, a position he has held since 2021. A member of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE), he previously served as the Secretary-General of the party's Madrid branch from 2000 to 2007. Throughout his career, he has held various legislative roles, including serving as a member of the Madrid City Council and as a long-term deputy in the Congress of Deputies. He holds a degree in Political Science from the Complutense University of Madrid.
