Jose Carlos L. Cari

Jose Carlos L. Cari is a Filipino politician currently serving as the Mayor of Baybay City in the province of Leyte. A dedicated public servant, he previously represented the Fifth District of Leyte in the Philippine House of Representatives for three consecutive terms from 2010 to 2019. Before his congressional tenure, he served as the municipal mayor of Baybay for three terms between 1998 and 2007. Throughout his career, he has focused on local governance and regional development, continuing a long-standing family tradition of public service in the province of Leyte.
