Josef Klement is a Czech politician and a member of the Senate of the Czech Republic representing district no. 51 – Žďár nad Sázavou since 2020. A member of the Christian and Democratic Union – Czechoslovak People's Party (KDU-ČSL), he also serves as the chairman of the KDU-ČSL and Independents Senate Club and has previously worked as the deputy mayor and city councillor of Žďár nad Sázavou. Before his career in municipal and national politics, he worked for fifteen years as an automation and software programmer and project manager in the automotive industry.
