Lumír Kantor

Lumír Kantor is a Czech politician, neonatologist, and university pedagogue serving as a Member of the Senate of the Czech Republic representing the Olomouc district since 2016. Born in Olomouc, he trained initially as a car mechanic and electrician before earning his medical degree from Palacký University Olomouc, where he later became head of the neonatal department at University Hospital Olomouc. In the Senate, he has been active in committees related to social policy, health, and internal security, while maintaining involvement in various philanthropic and pediatric medical organizations.
